Coregas History

Founded in Australia in 1976, Coregas is now part of Wesfarmers Industrial and Safety. As part of one of Australia's most respected companies - Wesfarmers Ltd - it is now an Australian owned industrial gas company, which services all industries and has a wealth of experience and knowledge spanning over 30 years in the industry.

Our focus on high levels of customer service is key to our strong partnerships with our customers. At Coregas we are proud of our long-standing and solid relationships with our customers. We will continue to seek innovative solutions to satisfy the ever-changing requirements of our customers.

Another major supply solution for our customers has been an investment in a high capacity acetylene production facility.This new facility will be able to fill the highest capacity cylinders in Australia.

Quality is another core value at Coregas and we therefore take pride in producing air gases at our major air separation unit (ASU) in Port Kembla, NSW. Coregas also has a state-of-the-art speciality gas laboratory and are developing a new applications centre and new production facilities at our Yennora facilities in NSW.
