About Coregas

Service and quality-core to what we do

As the largest Australian owned industrial, medical and specialty gas company we are proud to say that service and quality are at the core of everything we do. Our gases range from common gases such as oxygen and nitrogen to the rarest of gases like krypton, but it is our service and guaranteed quality of these gases that sets us apart.

Coregas History

Founded in Australia in 1976, Coregas is now part of Wesfarmers Industrial and Safety. As part of one of Australia's most respected companies - Wesfarmers Ltd - we are an Australian owned gas company, which services all industries and has a wealth of experience and knowledge spanning over 36 years in the industry.

Our focus on high levels of customer service is key to our strong partnerships with our customers. At Coregas we are proud of our long-standing and solid relationships with our customers. We will continue to seek innovative solutions to satisfy the ever-changing requirements of our customers.

Another major supply solution for our customers has been an investment in a high capacity acetylene production facility. This facility can fill the highest capacity cylinders in Australia.

Quality is another core value at Coregas and we therefore take pride in producing air gases at our major air separation unit (ASU) in Port Kembla, NSW. Coregas also has a state-of-the-art speciality gas laboratory, an applications centre and modern production facilities at our Yennora branch in NSW.
